Frog Prince Fisher

A luminous chiaroscuro scene of the Frog Prince Fisher enticing his goldfish prey with the promise of numerous keys.

Frog Prince Fisher

Keys are highly sought after. They unlock secret doors. They are access to treasured compartments, and hidden things. They can even be the missing piece that makes something whole. And just sometimes, they can open a passage to escape. This is not one of those times. The Frog Prince is a master fisher, using his false keys to lure in his prey. They are not real keys of course. They unlock nothing. But to the unsuspecting they look all the same. This is after all how he became a prince. The Frog Prince has all the outward appeal of an individual with many keys to his name. However, any that have been drawn in close enough to to see the false keys for what they are have already fallen prey to his gluttonous appetite. A luminous chiaroscuro scene, of the Frog Prince Fisher enticing his goldfish prey with the promise of numerous keys. Light bathing the scene is created through a glazing process, layering multiple very thin monochromatic colors over a black and white underpainting.
